Roze , 100% Merino

Wearing our Royal-Angora 100% merino wool base layers offers several benefits:

Temperature Regulation: Merino wool has natural insulating properties that help regulate body temperature. It keeps you warm in cold conditions by trapping heat close to the body, while its breathability prevents overheating in warmer weather by allowing excess heat and moisture to escape.

Moisture Management: Merino wool can absorb and retain a significant amount of moisture (up to 30% of its weight) without feeling damp. This moisture-wicking ability helps keep you dry and comfortable by pulling sweat away from the skin and allowing it to evaporate.

Odor Resistance: Merino wool has natural antimicrobial properties that inhibit the growth of odor-causing bacteria. This helps prevent the buildup of unpleasant odors, even after prolonged wear, making merino base layers ideal for extended outdoor activities or travel.

Softness and Comfort: Merino wool fibers are finer and softer than traditional wool, resulting in a smooth and soft texture against the skin. This makes merino base layers comfortable to wear for extended periods without itching or irritation.

Lightweight and Packable: Merino wool is lightweight and has a high warmth-to-weight ratio, making it ideal for layering without adding bulk. Additionally, it can be compressed easily, making merino base layers convenient for travel or outdoor activities where space is limited.

Natural UV Protection: Merino wool fibers naturally provide some degree of UV protection, shielding your skin from the sun's harmful rays. This can be especially beneficial for outdoor activities in sunny conditions.

All-Season Versatility: Merino base layers are suitable for a wide range of temperatures and weather conditions, making them versatile year-round. Whether you're hiking in the mountains, skiing in the winter, or exploring urban environments, merino base layers can provide the comfort and performance you need.

Overall, wearing merino base layers offers benefits such as temperature regulation, moisture management, odor resistance, softness, lightweight design, UV protection, and versatility, making them an excellent choice for outdoor enthusiasts, travelers, and anyone seeking comfortable and functional clothing for various activities.

We produce base layers from 100% merino. The yarn fibers are 18.5 microns and the fabric is 240 G/s"m (Grams per square meter).

It is important that you know what you are looking for and what suits you best.

The 18.5 microns of the merino fiber is normally very nice on the skin, but 17.2 microns would be better for children, babies and/or to people with very sensitive skin.

Also you need to choose the merino fabric thickness.  240 G/s"m is a little thick and good for the cold weather.  Our Summer-Breeze, merino / Lyocell line is much thinner and lighter as it is 140 G/s"m , so it suits the warm seasons better.
